BUTTER POUND CAKE RECIPE
Here's a simple butter pound cake recipe that is moist and delicious every time. INGREDIENTS: 1 cup butter 6 eggs 3 cups white sugar 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 pint heavy whipping cream 1 tablespoon vanilla extract *********************************************************** DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 325 Farenheit. Grease and flour one appropriately sized baking pan. Beat by hand or use an electric mixer to cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and mix well. Add the flour, one cup at a time, while adding cream a little at a time until all flour and cream is mixed in. Add the vanilla flavoring and blend well. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for about 90 minutes, or until the top is browned and thecenter springs back when pressed gently. Immediately turn out onto the cake rack and let cool.
