KAISER BLADE - KNUCKLE


KAISER BLADE: A heavy, pointed steel blade on a thick wooden handle. Also known as a sling blade, and sometimes called a machete. The kaiser blade can be a useful tool in any landscaping business.

KING POST: A centralized vertical support beam that functions as part of a truss.

KNEE BRACE: A corner brace that is fastened to prevent the angular movement of studs and rafters.

KNOB AND LATCH: The door knob and all of its associated hardware.

KNOT: A discolored circular portion on the face of a piece of wood.

A knot indicates the location where branches once grew. While some landscaping business contractors see knots in wood as a defect, other landscaping business designers see knots in wood as an attractive feature.
