THERMAL FABRIC - TRICORNE



THERMAL FABRIC: An insulating fabric that traps cool air and warms it before you feel it. Often used for blankets, long underwear, and the lining on winter coats.

THIGH HIGH BOOT: A boot that extends up to the thigh.

THONG: A thin strip of elasticized material, typical used in making sandals, lingerie, and barely-there bikini swimsuits.

THREAD COUNT: The number of yarns or fibers per square inch of fabric. Typically applies to bed linens.

TIARA: A jewel-encrusted headpiece originally worn by royalty.

TIE DYE: A resist-dyeing technique that often involves tying the fabric into tight knots to create sunburst designs.

TIERS: Layers of fabric that overlap each other at varying distances from the hemline.

TIGHTS: Skintight, footed leggings pulled up to the natural waistline, often worn under a skirt and/or with a bodysuit.

TINSEL: A metallic textile yarn, often used for decorating Christmas trees.

TIPPET: A light scarf worn over or around the shoulders.

TOGA: A flowing, white, unfitted garment that wraps around the body and goes over one shoulder.

Traditionally, the toga was worn by men in Ancient Rome. The garment covered the entire body except for the right arm.  

These days, the lady shown below hots it up in her silk mini toga, paired with sexy knee high gladiator stilettos.

TOP HAT: A tall, flat-topped hat, typically with an up curved brim.

The top hat was a popular mens fashion clothing item back in the 19th century, but still appears in runway fashions today.
